Ingredients
- 4 chicken breast halves
- 2 tablespoons butter, unsalted
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 85 grams ham slices 4 thin slices
- 55 grams cheese, swiss 4 thin slices
- 8 strips bacon, streaky
- 2 eggs
- 110 milliliters milk
- 60 grams flour
- 25 grams dry bread crumbs
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 20 grams cheese, parmesan Regiano
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350*F/175*C/GM 4 |
2. Flatten chicken breasts, spread butter on insides. Sprinkle with thyme. Top with slice of ham and cheese. Roll up tightly. Wrap each piece with two slices of bacon and secure with toothpicks. |
3. In a small bowl, beat eggs and milk. Place flour in another bowl. Combine bread crumbs with garlic powder, oregano and cheese. Dip each chicken breast into egg mixture, then flour, then again into egg mixture and then into crumbs. Place on a greased baking sheet. |
4. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until chicken juices run clear. |
