Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds fresh green beans
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 large cloves garlic, peeled
  • 1 small Dried Thai chile

Directions

1. Wash and trim stem end of green beans. Bring pan of salted, water to boil. Add beans and cook until crisp tender, about 5 minutes. Drain and pat dry beans.
2. Toast sesame seeds in dry skillet until slightly brown. Remove sesame seeds from pan.
3. Heat sesame oil until shimmering. Add garlic and dried, Thai chile. When chile and garlic lightly brown remove from pan. Carefully add beans, water can explode, and stir fry until tender.
4. Transfer to serving dish, garnish with toasted sesame seeds.
